On May 7, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Guangyuan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Cangxi County and other three counties (cfgm [2020] No. 1): ximiao township was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Yandian Town, and the people's Government of Yandian town was stationed at No. 5, West Street, Hongqi community.

Annual output of various crops

1. Planting industry: 5.5 million kg of grain, 700000 kg of oil and 100000 kg of tobacco. 2. Animal husbandry: 9000 pigs, 100000 small poultry and 4000 goats are sold annually. 3. Forest and fruit industry 900 mu of Eucommia ulmoides and 2000 kg of wild Gastrodia elata. 50000 kg of dried fruits (chestnut and walnut) and 5000 kg of wild black fungus are produced.
