Zhengyuan township is located in the northern mountainous area of Wangcang County, 28 kilometers away from the county, 620 meters above sea level. It is adjacent to Guohua Town, Yingcui town in the north, Gaoyang town in the south, Puji Town, Daliang Town, Huangyang town and xijieshuanghui town in the East. Wanggu tourist road passes through the territory.
