On December 18, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Dazhou city to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in five counties (districts), including Tongchuan District (cfzm [2019] No. 21): take quguang community, Nanqiao community, Nanmen community, Nanba community, Anshan community, Sisheng village of yuanqujiang town and Dashan community, Xiaoshan village, Wuli Village and Liba village of yuanqunan town as examples The administrative area of Qunan street, Qunan Street office is located in No. 108, south section of Quzhou Avenue.

Historical evolution

Before liberation, Qunan Street belonged to Chengguan District of Quxian county. In 1953, it set up Chengnan Township, changed into commune in 1958, renamed Qunan commune in 1981, and set up Qunan Township in 1984.

On December 23, 2003, Sichuan Provincial People's Government (No. 36 of Sichuan civil administration) approved that Liba village and Wulong Village of Lidu township should be merged into Qunan Township, and Qunan township government should be stationed in Qunan village.

In December 2018, Qunan county was set up as a town.

On December 18, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved the cancellation of Qunan town and the establishment of Qunan street. Quguang community, Nanqiao community, Nanmen community, Nanba community, Anshan community and Sisheng village in the former Qujiang town belong to Qunan street. The former Qunan community, Wusi village, Huayuan village, Shengli village, Jinqiao village, Xinlian village and Wulong Village of Qunan town belong to Zhongtan town.
