Wensheng town

Wensheng town is a town level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Jiangyou City, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It was liberated in December 1949 and established in May 1951, and was renamed Wensheng township. Township government in Changping Village (Changping also known as wenxingchang), under the jurisdiction of Zizhang county. Since 2015, Wensheng township has officially withdrawn from the township to build a town.

In December 2019, with the approval of Mianyang Municipal People's government, Wensheng town was abolished and the administrative area of Wensheng town was put under the jurisdiction of Houba town. Houba Town People's government is located at No.1 Nanhe street.

Wensheng town is located in the northwest edge of Jiangyou City, 56 kilometers away from Jiangyou City. The northwest is a big mountain, bordering Pingwu County and Liuhe Township of Jiangyou City.
