Wujin Street
Wujin is a thousand year old ferry. Xinjin County was built in 557 A.D. in the first year of mindI in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, and was once the key county head. The county seat is located in "zaoli River", and now denggongchang liumenshui. In 686 A.D., Wu Zetian moved the county seat to the current site, which was once named Wuyang town. In 1992, it merged with Shunjiang township to form Wujin Town. In 2014, with the approval of the provincial government, it withdrew the town and set up an office.
The street is located in the middle of Xinjin District, with an area of 21.9 square kilometers, including 12 village communities, 118 villagers (residents), and 11.9 permanent residents (accounting for nearly 1/3 of the total number of the population, including 8.4 registered residence population and 3.4 floating population). It is the only administrative village, agricultural community and city community coexist in the county.
Evolution of organizational system
Wujin street is located at the confluence of five rivers, so it is named. When Xinjin County was established in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, it was the county government.
In 2014, Wujin Town was abolished and Wujin sub district office was established, with the administrative region and resident unchanged.
geographical environment
The street is a "national town with beautiful environment", with many rivers flowing into Minjiang River, including Xihe River, Nanhe River, Jinma River, Yangma River and Yangliu river. Baixiyan wetland, the old road of Xihe River, reproduces the beautiful scenery of "Xichuan is for tourists, only this suburb".
administrative division
By 2020, Wujin sub district office has jurisdiction over 11 communities including Nanjiang, Shouzhe River, Chengdong, Chengxi, Chengbei, Fujiang, Hongshi, Wenwu, wudian, gujia, Pinggang and one administrative village in Linjiang village.
Transportation advantages
Wujin is 30 kilometers away from Chengdu, 18 kilometers away from Shuangliu International Airport and 5 kilometers away from Chengdu's second ring expressway. Chuanzang Road, Chengle Dajian road and chengxinpu Expressway pass through the area, and xinqiong, Xinda and Xinchong highways meet here. The Metro Line 10 (Wujin station and Rulin Road station are set up in the area) has brought Wujin into the era of metro, further shortened the distance from the central urban area, and further enhanced the regional value.
