Zhongping Township

Zhongping Township, subordinate to Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Miaojia town in Songtao County of Guizhou Province in the East, Cenxi Township in the south, Pingkai street and shiye town in the west, and Yajiang town in the North. In the song and Yuan Dynasties, the area of Zhongping township was under the jurisdiction of shiyedong; in 1984, it was changed from Zhongping commune to Zhongping township.
