Jilmeng Township
Jilmeng Township, belonging to Gangcha County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the west of Gangcha County, with Quanji Township in the East, Gonghe County of Hainan Province across Buha River in the south, Tianjun County of Haixi Prefecture in the west, mule River and Qilian County of Haibei Prefecture in the North, and 60 kilometers away from the county in the East. The area is 1463.6 square kilometers. In 2018, 3981 people registered residence.
Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Gangcha thousand households. In 1952, it belonged to the Gangcha Working Committee. In 1953, it belonged to Gangcha Tibetan Autonomous Region. In 1954, it belonged to the people's Government of Gangcha county. In 1958, it was the branch of Sanjiaocheng sheep farm in Qinghai Province. In 1959, it belonged to Quanji township. In 1962, the township was established. In 1966, it became a people's commune. In 1984, the system of returning to the countryside was established. As of October 2019, jilmeng township has five administrative villages.
In 2018, jilmeng township has 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
