History of construction

In the first year of Qianlong (1736) of Qing Dynasty, the territory belonged to xiaojiangli.

In 1914, Qujiang township was established. In 1938, it was changed to Longchi town. In 1941, Longchi town was changed into Longchi Township, and the territory belonged to it. In the same year, nine guarantees were set up in the northwest of Longchi Township, and one guarantee was set up in Xiangtang, the flower arrangement land, together with Youyang.

In September 1958, miaoquan township was changed into miaoquan commune.
