Qiongcao Town, which belongs to Yunyang County of Chongqing, is located in the south of Yunyang County, adjacent to Yanping town in the East, Yunfeng Township in the south, Nixi town in the west, Longjiao town and Pu'an Township in the north. In the Ming Dynasty, luocao town was located in Renshou Li, Juren township. In December 2011, it was changed from ruocao township to ruocao town. History of construction

In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to renshouli, Juren township.

In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to zhapingjia in chongshanli on the south bank; in the late Qing Dynasty, it was promoted to Yunlong Township by zhapingjia.

In 1933, it was changed to Yunlong Town.

In 1942, it was changed to Yunlong township.

In August 1953, Yunlong township was divided into 10 small townships, such as ruocao, Yunlong, Xiyang, Yaoling, Huobu and Qingshui.

In December 1956, the six small townships of Xucao, Dasheng, Shuanglong, Xiyang, Changling and Xiaohe merged into Xucao township.
