Huaxin Street

Huaxin Street, belonging to Jiangbei District of Chongqing, is located in the middle of Jiangbei District, adjacent to Wulidian street in the East, facing Yuzhong District across the river by Jialing River in the South and Guanyinqiao street in the West and North, with a total area of 2.48 square kilometers.

In the Qin, Han and Jin Dynasties, the territory of Huaxin Street was Jiangzhou County; in March 1993, part of the former Huaxin Street and part of the former Daxing village street were merged into a new Huaxin Street. In 2011, the total population of Huaxin Street was 59300. As of June 2020, Huaxin Street has jurisdiction over 11 communities, and its sub district office is located at No. 27, Jianxin South Road.

History of construction

In Qin, Han and Jin Dynasties, it was Jiangzhou county.

In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Yili of Baxian county and was managed by JianZheng.

In 1929, Longxi township of Jiangbei County was established. In September 1940, Longxi township was changed to Yinxi town. At the end of 1941, Yinxi town was renamed XIANGGUOSI town.

In 1954, XIANGGUOSI street was built.

In June 1966, XIANGGUOSI street was divided into Gangfeng street and Huaxin Street.

In March 1993, part of the original Huaxin Street and part of the original Daxing village street were merged into a new Huaxin Street.
