Jiansheng Town, subordinate to Dadukou District of Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Dadukou District, facing the Yangtze River three times. It faces Yudong street of Banan District across the Yangtze River in the southeast, Tiaodeng town in the West and Baqiao town in the north. It is 8.6km away from Dadukou District government, with a total area of 16.06km2.

Before 1949, Jiansheng town belonged to Renhe Town; in 1993, it was changed from Jiansheng township to Jiansheng town.
