Qianjiang farm

The state-owned Qianjiang farm (formerly Wuxuan farm) of Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation Bureau was founded in 1956. It is subordinate to Guangxi Agricultural Reclamation Bureau. It is located in Wuxuan County, Laibin City, Guangxi, with a total land area of 39000 mu, including 23000 mu of cultivated land, a total population of 5000 and 939 employees. The farm headquarters is adjacent to Wuxuan County, which is one of the 18 key towns of Guangxi state farms. The water and land transportation conditions are superior. There are 209 national highway and Wuxuan Guiping secondary highway running through the land. The water is connected with Liuzhou, Laibin, Wuzhou, Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong and Macao by Qianjiang "golden waterway", occupying the position of water and land transportation hub in the hinterland of Central Guangxi.

The main industry is sugarcane planting, with 100% of improved varieties. It is one of the raw material bases of Guangxi Nongken Sugar Group Co., Ltd. and Laibin high sugar and high yield demonstration base, with an annual output of 158000 tons of raw sugarcane. In 2008, it achieved a profit of 1.038 million yuan, a GDP of 122 million yuan, a total operating income of 251 million yuan, and an annual per capita income of 15400 yuan. the farm enterprises include: one ordinary portland cement plant with an annual output of 88300 tons, two red brick plants with an annual output of 20 million red bricks, one starch plant with an annual output of 5000 tons, one pig farm with an annual output of 20000 pigs, one plastic product plant with an annual output of 3 million woven bags, one ecological compound fertilizer plant with an annual output of 60000 tons and one paper paddle plant with an annual output of 50000 tons. The farm conscientiously implements the scientific outlook on development and the work deployment of the Bureau of land reclamation, gives full play to the advantages of land resources and location, comprehensively implements the strategies of stabilizing the farm by agriculture, strengthening the farm by industry, and prospering the farm by projects, speeds up the planning and construction of Qianjiang sugar industry concentration area, and creates an industrial chain of sugar circular economy.
