Jialiang town

Jialiang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Libo County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, is located in the northwest of Libo, a world natural heritage site, 36 kilometers away from the county seat.

All villages have simple roads, mobile communication has basically covered the whole town, power is normal, drinking water conditions for people and livestock need to be improved, and the main products are fine rice, bamboo shoots, rape, pepper, livestock and poultry, tuhuabu and tea.

Sankongqiao scenic spot

Sankongqiao is located at the foot of the mountain of Nongzhan group, Shiban village, Jialiang town. It crosses the Huangjiang river. In ancient times, it was located in Yangfeng area, which was the main traffic road leading to the outside world (today's Jichang and Dushan). It is said that the three hole bridge was built 200 years ago by the Liao family of Dushan Yangdi (today's Dushan Yangdi) with a donation of ten thousand taels of silver. The bridge has three holes, three feet high, two and a half feet wide and ten feet long. It is all made of carved blue stones without any adhesive. It is magnificent.

A hundred meters up from the end of the bridge, there is an arched cave built by digging a mountain, which is also made of bluestone strips. The depth, width and height of the cave are more than Zhang. The inner wall is a huge bluestone slab, which is polished and engraved with the inscription of merit and virtue. In addition, stone tables and benches were set in the cave to facilitate passers-by to rest, shelter from the rain and pay homage to the merits of good people.

More than 100 years ago, the Sankong bridge was destroyed by water and the bridge stones were scattered in the river. Due to the large project and the need for too much money, the Sankong bridge could not be repaired and rebuilt. In the 1950s, due to the construction of the sankongqiao water conservancy project, the cornerstone of the sankongqiao and many scattered bluestone strips in the river were used to build canals. Even the Gongde stele was not spared, and was removed as the bottom of the ditch crossing canal. Due to the damage of the three hole bridge for a long time, the old people who live in the world have not witnessed it. Many of the sayings are handed down from their ancestors, and the only historical witness of merit and virtue has been destroyed. It's painful and pitiful.

The scenery of Jialiang agricultural park today, although the Sankong bridge has been submerged in the historical flood, only some huge and heavy bluestones are still lying at the bottom of the river at the original site of the bridge, which can be seen clearly in the dry season. However, after decades of silence, the canal was cleaned up and restored in 2004. It is full of vitality and continues to nurture tens of thousands of Buyi people along the Huangjiang river. The beautiful legend about the three hole bridge is still sung by Buyi people in Yangfeng from generation to generation.

There are Jialiang five needle pine protection point, Dongting rural scenery belt, three hole bridge scenic area and Huangjiang River scenic area.
