History of construction
In the 16th year of King Cheng of Zhou Dynasty (1027 BC), it belonged to Jiangzhou.
In the late Warring States period, it belonged to Jiangzhou county.
In 487, it belonged to Dianjiang County.
In 561, the first year of Baoding in the Northern Dynasty and the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Dianjiang County was abolished and Baxian county was established.
