Jianai township of Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County was established in 1985. It was originally under the jurisdiction of Huaiqun township. It is located in the northwest of Luocheng County, connecting naweng Township in the East, Huaiqun town in the south, Anma township of Yizhou city and Changmei township of Huanjiang County in the northwest.

Development and construction

Jianai township is located in the area of 90000 mountains with high altitude, crisscross mountains and different peaks. It is a mountainous Township, known as "the hometown of mineral resources and the hometown of forest". Iron ore is the main mineral species in the township, accompanied by oxygen, zinc, lead-zinc, bauxite, titanium, manganese and other minerals; the forest coverage area of the township is 10681 hectares, with the forest coverage rate of 54.8%, and the main forest species are Cunninghamia lanceolata and pine. Nowadays, the tax revenue of mining and forestry has become the main income of the township, accounting for more than 50% of the fiscal revenue. In 2003, the GDP reached 35.8 million yuan, the fiscal revenue was 745000 yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 10.83 million yuan. Agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery have developed in an all-round way, and are rich in Camellia oleifera, wild hairy grapes, star anise, cassava, flue-cured tobacco, silkworm cocoon, chicken and duck, wood, etc. Township existing iron ore dressing plant, lead and zinc ore dressing plant, forest farm and other enterprises. The tertiary industry such as automobile transportation and service industry is in the ascendant. Education, culture, health, science and technology and other undertakings have also made considerable progress.

The township government is located in Daban, which is 65 kilometers away from the county seat. The total area of the township is 226 square kilometers, accounting for 8.13% of the area of Luocheng county. The cultivated land area is 11767 mu, including 6972 mu of paddy field and 4795 mu of dry land. The township now governs 10 villager committees and 1 community, 107 natural villages and 132 villager groups, with a total population of 12787 and a total area of 226 square kilometers. The township belongs to the region of 90000 mountains, with high altitude, crisscross mountains, different peaks and low climate. It is an alpine mountain area with 3294 mu of paddy fields. Jianai township is rich in natural resources and unique geographical conditions.
