Wujia Town

Wujia Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hepu County, Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Hepu County. It borders xingdaohu town in the East, Shagang town and Xichang town in the south, Nali town in Qinzhou City in the West and Nasi town in Qinzhou City in the north. It is 23 kilometers away from Hepu County, with an area of 196 square kilometers.

During the period of the Republic of China, it successively belonged to Wujia Bureau and Wujia hometown of the first district. In 1984, it was changed to Wu's hometown. It was changed to Wujia Town in 1993. By the end of 2018, the total population of Wujia Town was 16267. As of June 2020, Wujia Town has one community, one living area and six administrative villages, and the people's Government of Wujia Town is in Wujia community.

In 2018, there were 20 industrial enterprises and 5 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size in Wujia Town. The total output value of the whole town is 266 million yuan in agriculture, 1.092 billion yuan in industry, 760 million yuan in large-scale industry, 188 million yuan in tertiary industry, 155 million yuan in fixed assets investment and 150 million yuan in investment promotion.

History of construction

During the period of the Republic of China, it successively belonged to Wujia Bureau and Wujia hometown of the first district.

After 1949, it successively belonged to the Second District, the third district, Shagang District, wujiaxiang, Xichang District, wujiaxiang, Xichang commune, Shagang commune, Hongguang commune and Wujia commune.

In 1984, it was changed to Wu's hometown.

It was changed to Wujia Town in 1993.

As of June 2020, Wujia Town has one community, one living area and six administrative villages: Wujia community, living area of state-owned Qinlian forest farm, Wujia village, Dantian village, Walian village, Daxin village, Xida village and Lingding village. The town people's government is stationed in Wujia community.

Wujia Town is located in the northwest of Hepu County, bordering xingdaohu town in the East, Shagang town and Xichang town in the south, Nali town of Qinzhou City in the West and Nasi town of Qinzhou City in the north. It is 23 kilometers away from Hepu County, with an area of 196 square kilometers.

Wujia Town is a low hilly area with high terrain around and gentle central part. Ma'anling, the highest peak, is 87.9 meters above sea level.

Wujia Town has a subtropical monsoon climate. Strong sunshine, sufficient heat, hot summer and warm winter, long frost free period. The climate is controlled by the monsoon circulation. The rain is hot in the same season. The East is dry and the summer is wet. There is no severe heat in summer and no severe cold in winter. The annual average gas temperature is above 23 ℃.

hydrology

The main river of Wujia Town is Danzhu River, which is the boundary river between Hepu and Qinzhou. It originates from nawuling, Qinnan District, Qinzhou City, enters laozhujiang natural village, Dantian village, and flows into Xichang town through tiandijiang village. It goes out to sea from Fengfeng River, with a length of about 13 km.

Wujia Town is close to Beibu Gulf because of its uneven rainfall and heat in different seasons. There are often typhoon, rainstorm, drought, low temperature, rain and frost and other meteorological disasters.

Wujia Town has 325 national highway, Qinbei railway and North South Expressway running through the territory in parallel.

History and culture

According to records, 600 years ago, there was a big banyan tree in this area, where many crows lived at night, so it was called wuyaping. Because of the homonym of "home" and "crow", it was later called wujiawei and Wujia commune, hence the name of Wujia Town.

Wujia Town has four emperors palace, which is a cultural relic protection unit at Hepu county level.
