Gangqin temple is located in chasu Township, Sakya County, Shigatse, 45 kilometers away from Shigatse City, with an altitude of 3800 meters. It was built in 1447 under the leadership of sambuzaxi (disciple of Dalai Lama I). The temple believes in Gelug Sect. It once had eight halls (Tara hall, road second hall, Dharma protection temple, etc.), one Sutra hall, two ZHACANG and five Micun. In the Sutra hall, there is sangbuzaxi's pagoda, which is mainly for the three masters and disciples of zongkaba and sangbuzaxi. There is a "Guanxiang Lake" 50 meters away from the temple. It is said that sangbuzhaxi dug it out with his walking stick. You can see your future from the lake.
