Huatuozhen

Huadao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Lipu City, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Lipu City, adjacent to Shuangjiang town in the northeast, Pulu Yao Township in the northwest and Datang town in the south, with an administrative area of 138 square kilometers. Before liberation, it was called Shangbei township. In 1994, the township was changed to Huahuang town. By the end of 2008, the total population of Huadao town was 23865, including 22986 agricultural population. By the end of 2019, Huatuo town has one community and eight administrative villages, and the town government is located at No. 1 East Road.

In 2018, Huatuo town completed 9.2295 million yuan of industrial enterprise tax revenue, a year-on-year increase of 37.82%; 13 technical transformation projects with 110.1 million yuan of investment were completed.

History of construction

Before liberation, it was called Shangbei township.

After liberation, it was Shangbei Township in the third district in November 1950.

In 1951, it was Shangbei Township and Taoda Township in the third district.

In 1953, it was the third district (under the jurisdiction of Huahuang and Shuangjiang).

In 1955, it was Huahuang district (still under the jurisdiction of today's Huahuang and Shuangjiang towns).

In 1958, Huatuo commune and Liangjiang commune were established.

In 1962, it was Huahuang district.

In 1963, he joined Liangjiang district.

In 1968, Huahuang commune and Liangjiang commune were restored.

In 1984, it was called Huahuang township.

In 1994, the township was changed to Huahuang town.

In 1995, the village office was renamed the village committee.

By the end of 2019, Huatuo town has one community and eight administrative villages: Huatuo community, Dajiang village, Da'an village, Fuling village, Nanyuan village, Datong village, Jianghua village, Fenglian village and Xiangshi village, and the town government is stationed at No.1 East Road.
