Dongtou town is located in the northwest of Rongshui County, 95 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Congjiang County in Guizhou Province in the north, Gangdong Township in the west, Liangzhai Township in the East, Antai Township and gunbei Dong Township in the south. With a total area of 211.42 square kilometers, the town governs 7 administrative villages and 67 natural villages.
