Xinhuilong town is located in the west of Dongyuan County, Heyuan City, on the southwest border of Xinfengjiang reservoir, 114 ° 32 'e, 23 ° 42' n, adjacent to Xingang in the East, Longmen and BOLUO in the south, Xinfeng in the west, Xichang in the north, and 18.2 km away from the urban area. Xinhuilong town has convenient water and land transportation, connecting Xingang, Xichang, Banjiang, Shuangjiang and other towns by water, and connecting provincial highway 165 by land through Pingling town of Longmen County. Xinhuilong town has a total area of 389.86 square kilometers (2017), with a water area of 212000 mu, a mountainous area of 400000 mu, a cultivated area of 5400 mu, and a forest area of 360000 mu, with a coverage rate of 87.3%.

First, actively cooperate with the construction of wanlvgu Scenic Area Phase II project. Baiziwei, a new residential building in wanlvgu scenic area with an investment of more than 50 million yuan, has been opened to welcome guests. The daily number of accommodation tourists has increased from more than 50 to nearly 200, and the economic benefits have been greatly improved. At the same time, the air rafting project of the scenic spot is very popular with tourists. During the peak period of tourism (July to August), the daily number of tourists can reach 3000, gradually realizing the transformation from simple sightseeing to leisure resort.
