Ciyantang town is located in the northeast of Longshan County, Hunan Province, 22 kilometers away from the county seat, with a total area of 139 square kilometers (2017), an average altitude of 850 meters, and a cultivated land area of 17606.63 mu. Known as the "Zunyi City" in Wuling Mountain, in 1935, Ren Bishi, he long, Guan Xiangying, Xiao Ke, Wang Zhen and other proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation led the second and sixth Red Army Corps to stay here for 233 days, conveying the basic spirit of the Zunyi Conference and determining the basic policy of fighting against the enemy. The Hunan Hubei Sichuan Guizhou Soviet revolutionary committee was also set up here. The site is a national key historical and cultural relic protection unit. The former sites of the former Red Army Hospital, Red Army school, Arsenal and supply department are well preserved.
