Tanjiachang township is rich in tobacco, watermelon and wood. It is located in the northeast of Chenxi County, 37 kilometers away from the county seat, bordering Junping town and shurongxi township of Xupu County in the East, Dajiangkou town and xiaojiangkou township of Xupu County and Shixi township of Chenxi County in the south, Lixi township of Yuanling County in the north and Wujiawan township of Chenxi County in the West.
