Fengcheng Township

Fengcheng township is located in the eastern suburb of Houma City, Shanxi Province, bounded by Quwo in the East, Xintian Township in the west, Zijin Mountain in the south, Jiangxian County in the south, Zhangcun street and Quwo County in the north, and 8 km away from Houma station in the West. The territory is flat with sufficient soil, fertilizer and water. The land area of the township is 34.6 square kilometers, with 24600 mu of cultivated land, 18889 people (in 2017), and 14 administrative villages. Huohou first-class highway and Dayun highway run through the East and west of the township, with convenient transportation, flat terrain and rich water resources. They are listed as Houma agricultural high-tech demonstration park.

Huohou first-class highway, Dayun highway and Jin Han highway meet in the territory and cross from east to west. North Ring Road of Houma City is connected with Quwo from nanxizhuang flower and seedling market of Xintian Township eastward through Fengcheng village and Xizhao village of Fengcheng township. Wenming road passes through Lincheng village of Fengcheng township to the East and connects with Dayun road at 100m west of yaouqiao automobile and motorcycle market. The opening of these two roads directly brought the rural road network of Fengcheng into the urban road structure of Houma City, further highlighted the traffic advantages, effectively enhanced the economic development vitality of Fengcheng, Xizhao, Lincheng and other villages to the north of Dayun Road, and further promoted the process of agricultural industrialization, rural industrialization and rural urbanization of Fengcheng.
