Longquanyan township is located in the southwest of Chenxi County, connecting Anping town in the East, qiaotouxi Township in the south, dashuitian Township in the West and Mayang County in the northwest. With a total area of 51.1 square kilometers, the township governs 11 administrative villages and 123 villager groups, with a total of more than 11600 people.

It is located in a hilly area, with hengba mountain in the north and yunpannao mountain in the south. Longmen river flows through four administrative villages in the southeast and Nantan river flows through three administrative villages in the south. The Wuliang high-grade highway passes through the countryside, so the transportation is very convenient.

Growth process

In recent years, longquanyan Township adheres to the development strategy of "stabilizing the township by agriculture, enriching the township by science and technology, invigorating the township by private enterprises, and strengthening the township by special animal husbandry" based on the local reality, relying on the advantages of resources, highlighting the regional characteristics, taking the increase of farmers' income as the core and agricultural efficiency as the purpose. Specific performance in: first, stable food production, breeding industry gradually formed scale. The township has a total area of 7850 mu of paddy field, with an annual output of 5600 tons of grain. The scale of breeding black goat, three yuan hybrid pig, Chenzhou duck, yellow hair silky fowl, etc. is constantly expanding. Second, actively promote the development of private economy. The annual output value of fireworks and firecrackers reaches 22 million yuan, and the per capita annual income of firecracker farmers can increase by 200 yuan. There is a private hydropower station of 800 kW, with an annual power generation capacity of 2.8 million kWh and an annual record of 1.6 million yuan. Third, vigorously develop forest land economy. Since 2007, the area of returning farmland to forest has reached more than 6000 mu, and the base of high-quality fruit has reached more than 1200 mu, creating a high-standard economic demonstration community dominated by high-value economic forest. Fourth, we strictly managed the environment for economic development. We applied for the establishment of seven regular fireworks and firecrackers factories, including Longquan and Ping'an. In 2004, we introduced 3 million yuan of foreign capital to build a comprehensive agricultural market, speeding up the construction process of small towns.
