It belongs to Dong'an County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province. It is 7 km away from Dong'an County and 18 km away from Lengshuitan district. It is located between east longitude 110 ° 59 ′～ 110 ° 34 ′, and north latitude 26 ° 7 ′～ 26 ° 52 ′. It is only 140 kilometers away from Guilin. The town was established in 1985, and the original shankoupu Township and fanlongwei Township were merged in 1995. The town is located in the east of Dong'an County, 11 kilometers away from the county government, with an area of 165.55 square kilometers (2017) and a population of 41026 (2017).
