Yangjiaqiao Street

Yangjiaqiao street is located in the south of Lengshuitan District, adjacent to Meiwan street in the East, coral Township in the west, renwan town in the South and xiaojiayuan street in the north. Xiangjiang River and Xianggui railway pass through the whole territory. Lingling South Road, Wujiayuan road and jiangjunling road run through the whole territory from north to south. Jiefang Road, Yanjiang Road, Shiyan Road, Qingji road and Changfeng Road crisscross and extend in all directions, so the traffic is convenient.

The newly established yangjiaqiao Street governs 25 villages including Dongchong, dongshanli, hujialing, Huangdian, jinmutang, Liwan, longjiangqiao, luanqutou, luojian, mianhuatang, muguabu, Pingyuan, qingcaopu, Shitang, Toutou, Yongxi, Yuanjia, Zhachong, Zhangjia, Xintian, hengchong, Liujia, Chenjia, laoyawo, Zhangjiapu, and 4 communities including Wujiayuan, SHIZIKOU, Shunhuang and Zitang, With a total area of 96.1 square kilometers and a total population of 62100, the office is located in Wujiayuan (formerly yangjiaqiao sub district office).

Historical development

In 1984, Dazhai road in Lengshuitan town was renamed Lingling South Road. In the middle and late 1980s, Lingling South Road has formed a street of sugar and wine, a street of building materials market and a street of service industry. The industrial economy has developed rapidly. In 1986, more than ten Street enterprises were set up in Lingling South Road, including Lengshuitan aluminum products factory, Chengnan infrastructure company, Chengnan Maoshan factory, Lengshuitan glass instrument factory, Chengnan guest house, Chengnan liquefied gas station, Chengnan floor brick factory, Chengnan sandstone station, Nanfang building materials company, Hongsheng ceramics factory, etc. Huangnijing agricultural market has become one of the largest agricultural markets in the province after its expansion. Changfeng automobile supporting industrial park has become an important emerging industrial base, Xiaoxiang hydropower station has become an important pillar industry in cold water beach area, and Huyan National Grain Reserve is the largest grain reserve base in our city. In 1992, the office built a comprehensive building of 2120 square meters in Wujiayuan. At the end of 2003, foreign investment of 8 million yuan was introduced to build the yangjiaqiao community complex.
