In March 1979, 11 production teams, including Xinmin and prospect, and livestock farms, improved seed farms and forest farms in Zhaodong town were set up, and suburban people's communes were set up. In June 1983, it was officially approved to be transferred from Zhaodong town to a new town. the new urban and rural areas have flat terrain and good soil quality.
