Chuanxing Township, belonging to Yanling County, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, is 35 kilometers away from the county in the north and borders on Anren and Zixing in the West. The available land area of the township is 142000 mu, and the woodland area is 119000 mu. It is one of the key forestry towns in Yanling County.

Historical evolution

The old polder in Yuanxiang is surrounded by slanting Laishui on three sides, which looks like a boat, so it is named boat polder, hence the name of Xiangxiang. Chuanxing township was established in 1949, Xianfeng commune in 1958, Chuanxing commune in 1962 and restored to township in 1984.
