Lengji Town, Gucheng County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, is located in the transitional zone between the towering Wudang Mountains and the rich Jianghan Plain. It is adjacent to the Ancient City Xiangyang in the East, Shiyan in the Checheng city and Wudang in the west, a bridge at Laohekou in the north, and the Hanjiang River flows eastward.

The town covers an area of 266.8 square kilometers, with 76676 mu of arable land, more than 100000 mu of mountain forest and 120000 mu of beach. The town now has 37 villages, 2 communities, 148 villager groups and 48622 people (2017).

Geography

In the total output value of agriculture, grain crops are 29.5568 million yuan, 404.89 yuan per mu; cash crops are 104.499 million yuan, 1255.3 yuan per mu; forestry is 29.3681 million yuan; fishery is 21.0129 million yuan. The total output of agricultural products were 26529 tons of grain (7364 tons of wheat, 12200 tons of rice and 6965 tons of other products), 4581 tons of oil, 4052 tons of melons and fruits, 4227 tons of meat, 802 tons of aquatic products and 2470 tons of eggs.
