Shucheng town

Shucheng Town, belonging to Hejian City, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, is located 30 kilometers northeast of Hejian City, in the center of Beijing, Tianjin and Shijiazhuang triangle. The total area is 96 square kilometers, and the cultivated area is 83000 mu. The total number of households is 14896 and the total population is 57904 (in 2018).

In June 1961, when the scale of the commune was adjusted, it was changed into Shucheng people's commune. In March 1984, it was renamed Township, and in July of the same year, it was rebuilt into town. In 1996, it merged with Nanzhao Township and was still called Shucheng town. By 2019, Shucheng town has jurisdiction over 41 administrative villages.

In 2018, Shucheng town completed 33.09 million yuan of public revenue (18.84 million yuan of state tax, 11.96 million yuan of local tax and 2.73 million yuan of fiscal revenue), 660 million yuan of fixed assets investment, 3.486 billion yuan of output value of enterprises on the designated scale, an increase of 11.89% year on year, and 178 million yuan of profits and taxes of enterprises on the designated scale, an increase of 11.69% year on year.

History and culture

Shucheng town has Shuzhou County site, Mopanshan ancient tomb and other historic sites.

Shuzhou County site is located in Shucheng town. Shuzhou city was built in the spring and Autumn period, and the county was established in the Han Dynasty. It was abolished in 556. Sui kaihuang 16 years (596) restoration, renamed Shucheng county. In the Song Dynasty, the county was abandoned as a town and then restored as a county. Jin for the town, Yuan inspection department.
