Longzhouping town

The seat of Changyang Tujia Autonomous County, longzhouping Town, Hubei Province, is located in "one dam and two reservoirs" (Geheyan power station dam, Gaobazhou and Geheyan Reservoir Area). The scenic spots include sighing ditch, Guanyin Pavilion, Baishi Xiongguan, Yuwang palace, etc. The ditch on the South Bank of Qingjiang River opposite longzhouping is called sighing ditch. It is famous for its secluded valley and clear spring. It is said that more than 1000 years ago, Nanping in the Five Dynasties was annihilated by the Song Dynasty. Li Jingwei, commander of the Navy, stationed his troops here and died bravely. Therefore, the mountain on the left side of gouzuo was named "Jiangjun mountain" and the stream was called "sighing ditch". The two sides of sighing ditch face each other, with unique natural landscapes such as stone walls, stone pillars, plank roads, waterfalls, deep pools and canyons. Moreover, the climate here is cool and refreshing Xiren is a natural summer resort and tourist site. Guanyin Pavilion is also an important landscape. According to historical records, it was built by Li Jue, the head of Nanjing household department in Ming Dynasty. It was damaged during the cultural revolution, but now it has been rebuilt, basically maintaining its original style. Guanyin Pavilion is surrounded by mountains and water, high walls, wide caves, clear springs and ancient trees, and unique Diaojiaolou. Baishi Xiongguan is a precipitous pass, which was set up in the Qing Dynasty. Its function is to implement "Han people are not allowed to enter the cave, and native people are not allowed to go out of the pass". Nowadays, there are stone tablets beside Baishi bridge as a record. Yuwang palace is located on the South Bank of Qingjiang River, also known as Yuwang cave. The natural landscape in the cave is unique. There are lotus paddy fields like jade, long corridors in the cave, artificial flying bridges between the ravines, and a line of sky with two high walls. Some poets praise it: "the waves roll, the flowers fly, the strange cave, and the gods carve the palace of King Yu."
