The county was divided into 10 people's communes, namely, Taide, dangzhi, Chengguan, Nanpu, Sanduo, Yucun, qu'e, xujiaduo, Qimai and Taigu. On June 3, 27 and 29, 1963, five communes, including Taigu and Yucun, were hit by rainstorms and hail. in March 1970, the 19th medical team of the General Hospital of the Chinese people's Liberation Army came to Daning to help carry out medical and health work and treat the poor and lower middle peasants.
