Anshan Street

Anshan street is located in the southwest of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. In the East, it is adjacent to tuditang community, FASI street in the west, shanpo street in the South and duanlingmiao community in the north. The government is 29 kilometers away from Zhifang and 47 kilometers away from Wuhan.

Anshan Street covers an area of 110.5km2, with a population of 26178 (at the end of 2011), and governs one community and 18 administrative villages.

Historical evolution

Anshan was formerly known as Ma'anshan. Located about 200 meters south of the hilly land, it is named because the stone mountain looks like a saddle. In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xiannan Township and governed Yiren and Xiangdong Liangli. In the Republic of China, Ma'anshan and ma'afaxiang were established. In June 1949, the people's Government of the Sixth District of the county (Ma'anshan) administered Xinyao and MafA townships. In 1951, it was the third district with jurisdiction over seven townships. In 1952, the county no hillside Guidance Group governed Anshan township. In 1958, the county was under the jurisdiction of Dongfeng people's commune. In 1961, it was a hillside District, with Anshan commune under its jurisdiction. In 1973, Anshan commune was under the jurisdiction of the county. Anshan township was established in 1983 and Anshan town was established in 1986. on January 7, 2011, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs approved the cancellation of Anshan town in Jiangxia District of Wuhan city with the No.4 Reply of the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs on the cancellation of Anshan town in Jiangxia District of Wuhan city. On January 28, the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau approved the establishment of Anshan sub district office in Anshan Town, Jiangxia District, based on No. 14 of Wuhan Civil Affairs Bureau, the reply of the Civil Affairs Bureau on revoking the establishment of Anshan sub district office in Anshan Town, Jiangxia District, and the residence is No. 36, Ma'an road.

Jurisdiction is hilly areas, high in the middle, low around. Mountains and hills crisscross the territory, undulating, North and south sides of the lake, surface runoff flows from the high slope to the field, gathered in the lake and Lu lake. The annual average temperature is 16.7 ℃, the annual average rainfall is 1350 mm, the annual frost free period is 253-262 days, and the annual sunshine hours is about 1954 hours.
