In Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, paoziyan Street belonged to Yongzhi society of Jilin Province; in 1980, it was changed from paoziyan branch to paoziyan street. At the end of 2011, the total population of paoziyan street was 11957, including 4874 urban permanent residents. As of June 2020, paoziyan street has one community under its jurisdiction, and its sub district office is located at 89 Qipan street.

History of construction

During the reign of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, it belonged to paoziyan of Yongzhi society in Jilin Province.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Datun village, the Fourth District of Yongji County. In 1941, it was assigned to Jiangbei District of Jilin City. In 1944, it was the Yongming Town Association. In 1948, it belonged to Datun township.

In 1951, Datun township was changed into paozi Street office.

In 1956, Qipan village, paoziyan village and Gujiazi village were merged into paoziyan street.

In 1958, paoziyan street was changed into paoziyan branch.

In 1980, paoziyan branch changed to paoziyan street.
