Shandian Township

Shandian township was established in 1956 as a small township of WanDian, and Shandian commune was established in 1975, and changed to a township in 1983. Luoshan county is located in Henan Province, the southernmost, 45 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 114 square kilometers and has a population of 21000. It connects zhoudang town in the East, Dingyuan town in the southeast, Xuanhua town in Hubei Province in the south, Pengxin town and Tiepu town in the northwest, and Panxin town in the north.

Shandian township is located in the south of Luoshan County, bordering Xuanhua Town, Dawu County, Hubei Province in the south, and neighboring zhoudang, Pengxin, Dingyuan, Tiebu and other towns in the north, East and West, with a total area of 114 square kilometers, a mountain farm area of 126400 Mu and a water area of 8000 mu. Its traffic extends in all directions, with Shandian township as the center. To the south, there is a highway leading to Wuhan in Hubei Province, to the northwest, there is a highway leading to Dawu County, the old red area, and to the north, there is a highway connecting with 312 national highway, which can reach all parts of the country.

There are also wild boars, wild goats and other rich wildlife resources.
