Puhui farm is a state-owned enterprise directly under Korla City. It was built in 1958 and is located 46 kilometers southwest of Korla City, with a total area of 135.86 square kilometers.

Farm profile

Puhui farm has 170000 mu of arable land, 30000 mu of grassland and 14000 mu of woodland. Cotton is mainly planted, with 7 branches. At present, there are 6291 permanent residents, 2174 households, 1798 labors, including Uygur, Han, Hui and Zhuang nationalities. The floating population can reach 15000 in busy farming season. There are 2 schools with a total of 2367 students.

Farm development

2008 is a year in which the farm has experienced severe tests and made remarkable achievements in the development process! Guided by the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and guided by Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", the Party committee, the management committee and the cadres and workers of all ethnic groups of the farm thoroughly implement the scientific outlook on discovery, unite and lead the cadres and workers of all ethnic groups, adhere to scientific development, promote social harmony, and strive to overcome various difficulties and resolve adverse factors. In 2008, the total output value of agriculture was 258 million yuan, the added value of agriculture was 155 million yuan, the profit was 850000 yuan, the average job income was 11366 yuan, and the per capita income was 5683 yuan. A total of 52.598 million yuan has been invested in infrastructure construction, including 28.656 million yuan for farmland infrastructure construction, 22.246 million yuan raised by agricultural workers for investment in 363 mobile high-pressure drip irrigation equipment with an area of 72668 mu; 5.041 million yuan for farm and sub farm infrastructure construction, such as bridges, culverts, gates, impervious canals, pumping stations, field gravel roads, etc. 23.942 million yuan was invested in the construction of small towns, including 2.76 million yuan for the construction of the second branch of No.14 Middle School in Korla City, 268000 yuan for the construction of 1885 meters of water pipes for disease prevention and improvement, and 850000 yuan for the 8000 square meters of Kongque River scenic green belt and four branch green square, accounting for 54.5% of the total investment.

Farm activities

In 2008, 26 mass cultural activities were held, creating a good atmosphere of "safety, civilization and harmony". A series of activities were successfully held, such as the 12th "Shehuo" activity, "welcoming the Olympic Games, stressing civilization and building a new style" and the large-scale literature and art performance celebrating the May 4th movement, the celebration of the 87th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the 50th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Three charity performances for the 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake were held, with a total donation of more than 170000 yuan. We will actively carry out activities to help the poor and respect the elderly. During the guerbang Festival and the Spring Festival, 25000 yuan was allocated to the "three elders", patriotic religious people, poor households and 60 disabled households.
