Youhe township is located in Shihe District, Xinyang City, Henan Province, at the intersection of Huaihe River, Youhe River and Baisha River. It faces Pingchang Township across the river in the north, Dongjiahe town in the south, wujiadian town in the West and Xinyang City in the East. Before August 1998, it was under the jurisdiction of Xinyang County. In August 1998, after Xinyang was set up as a city, it was under the jurisdiction of Shihe district.
