Goubangzi Street

Goubangzi street, belonging to Beizhen City, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Beizhen City, connecting Shenyang City in the East, Panjin City in the south, Jinzhou City in the West and Fuxin City in the north, with an administrative area of 29.27 square kilometers.

In 1956, the town was established; in 1991, Goubangzi township was merged into Goubangzi town. In 2014, Goubangzi town removed the town and built a street to become Goubangzi street. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of 31160 people was on the street. As of June 2020, Goubangzi street has jurisdiction over 6 communities and 10 administrative villages.

In 2011, the total revenue of Goubangzi street was 490 million yuan. The local fiscal revenue was 245 million yuan. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax is 30.92 million yuan, value-added tax is 165 million yuan, and enterprise income tax is 22.5 million yuan. In 2018, there were 83 industrial enterprises, including 10 above scale and 75 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1956, the town was established.

In 1958, it was incorporated into Goubangzi commune.

In 1962, it was established in Goubangzi town.

In 1968, Goubangzi town and Goubangzi commune merged into Goubangzi commune.

In 1977, Jiangou Bangzi town was built, belonging to Beizhen county.

On June 29, 1989, Beizhen county changed its name to Beizhen Manchu Autonomous County and became Beizhen Manchu Autonomous County.

In 1991, Goubangzi township was merged into Goubangzi town.

In 2014, Goubangzi town removed the town and built a street to become Goubangzi street.
