Guanpo town

Guanpo town is located in the southwest of Lushi County, Sanmenxia City, Henan Province. It is located at the junction of Lushi, Luonan and Danfeng counties in Henan and Shaanxi provinces. G344 national highway, s328 provincial highway and S250 provincial highway pass through it. It borders Luonan County in Shaanxi Province in the west, Danfeng County and Shiziping Township in Lushi County in Shaanxi Province in the southwest, Shuanghuaishu Township in Lushi County in the East, xujiawan Township and Shuanglongwan Township in Lushi County in the north.

Historical evolution

There is a ridge 1.5km west of the street, which is located at the junction of Henan and Shaanxi provinces. In the old days, when there were cases on the ridge, the officials of the two provinces tried to pass the buck to each other, so it was named guanpo ridge. Lingqian street was also named guanpo Street.

Guanpo people's commune was established in 1958 and the township was changed in 1983. In 1996, guanpo township was set up as a town. The administrative areas are the same as those of the Township before the establishment of the town. In 2018, the county's administrative villages were merged and adjusted, with 13 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of the town.
