Longjia Street

Longjia street is located in Jiutai District of Changchun City. It was withdrawn from township and merged into town in 2001. It was formed by merging the original Longjiapu and Yinmahe towns. In 2016, it was withdrawn from town and set up a street.

Longjia street is located in the east of Changchun City, 18 kilometers away from the center of Changchun City and 10 kilometers away from Changchun Longjia International Airport. The town covers an area of 238.4 square kilometers, with 13807 hectares of arable land (including 2800 hectares of paddy fields), 1337 hectares of forest land and 1100 hectares of water area. The town has 26 administrative villages, 2 streets and 135 natural villages. The total population of the town is 58000, including 8000 urban people. The town has 25000 labor force and 16000 people engaged in the secondary and tertiary industries. "Yinmahe" brand green rice, "Quanyuan" brand eggs are well-known both inside and outside the province, "Daolang" brand instant rice has been produced and put on the market. There are more than 120 restaurants in the town, which are characterized by white meat sausage and sauce spareribs. It is known as "the first town of food in Guandong". There are more than 200 economic people who mainly sell fresh eggs in real estate.

Historical evolution

Because someone built a shack here, it was named longjiashack. In the Republic of China, it was renamed Longjiabao. Before liberation, it was the eighth District of Kalun in Changchun County, and after liberation, it was the sixteenth District of Jiutai county. Longjiabao township was established in 1956, the commune was changed in 1958, the township was restored in 1984, and the town was established in 1985. It is located in the southwest of Jiutai City, 18 kilometers away from the urban area. In 1997, with an area of 140 square kilometers and a population of 36000, the town government was stationed in Longjiapu, with jurisdiction over 16 village committees and Longjiapu neighborhood committees, including Longjiapu, Shuangyang, Shuixiang, Jixiang, yangshugou, Yuanjia, quanyangou, Fanshen, erdaohezi, yaotun, Heping, caocheng, sijiazi, Nanquan, Xinmin and Linhe. In early 2001, the original Yinmahe town was withdrawn and merged. On January 6, 2006, the general office of Changchun Municipal People's government issued the document Chang Fu Ban Fa [2006] No.1, which put Longjia town under the jurisdiction of Erdao District of Changchun City. In July 2016, jiminxingpi [2016] No. 2 document changed Longjia town from Erdao District of Changchun City to Jiutai District of Changchun City.

Characteristic industry

Longjia street is a demonstration park of Agricultural Mechanization in Jilin Province, with a total power of 18294 kW. At present, there are 55 large and medium tractors, 950 small tractors, 930 sets of agricultural machinery, 20 agricultural technology service organizations, and the comprehensive level of agricultural mechanization has reached 90%.
