Historical evolution
The earth platform of the temple is about 3 meters high and covers an area of about 3 mu. The gate of the temple faces northwest. Now there are only steps and steles left. After liberation, Taiwei Town Central Primary School was established on the site of the temple, which was later transformed into a village committee and a home for the aged. The village is named after Ding Hong's official position, and so is the name of the town. After many years, people forget Ding Hong, but the name "Taiwei" has spread with the temple, village and town.
