Taiwei town

There is a Taiwei temple in Taiwei village, Taiwei Town, Wuyang county. It was built by ordinary people to commemorate Ding Hong, a famous person in his hometown during the Eastern Han Dynasty.

Taiwei Town, formerly known as Taiwei Township, was approved by the Provincial Department of civil affairs in 2000 to abolish the township system and establish a township system, renamed Taiwei Town, which is a key poverty alleviation and development Township in the province. Historical evolution
