Liyuan District

Old place names. The former Liyuan district is located in Tongzhou District of Beijing, with a town area of 24.87 square kilometers and a total population of 184000. It has 26 administrative villages, 15 community neighborhood committees, 50 grass-roots party branches and 1879 party members.

Evolution of organizational system

Liyuan commune was established in 1972, Liyuan township was changed in 1983, and town was established in 1990. In 1996, it covers an area of 25.5 square kilometers and has a population of 25000. It has jurisdiction over Banbidian, Dazao village, Xiaogao village, damazhuang, Caoyuan, JIANGJUNFEN, weijiafen, dongxiaomazhuang, gaoloujin, Zhuanchang, Xiaojie No.1, No.2, No.3, Sanjianfang, Liyuan, beiyangwa, dongzongtun, xizongtun, lijiaomazhuang, liulaozhuang, jiukeshu, sunwangchang, chelifen, Sunzhuang, Gongzhuang Zhuang has 26 administrative villages. Investment Development

Under the correct leadership of the district Party committee and the district government, the people of the whole town took the construction of the southern New Town as the goal to speed up the pace of the transformation of the old villages. Among the 26 administrative villages, 19 villages have carried out the transformation of the old villages, and the process of regional urbanization has been continuously promoted. It has successively invested 470 million yuan, including social financing of more than 200 million yuan, accelerating infrastructure construction. The total mileage of the road network in the town has reached 60 kilometers, and the road area has reached 1.9 million square meters. At the same time, the construction of municipal supporting pipelines such as gas, telecommunications, water supply and drainage has been improved. Liyuan theme park, yunjingli Street Garden and outer ring road garden square have been built successively, providing leisure and entertainment places for local people. Continuous improvement of the regional ecological environment, the town green management and protection area reached 1.2 million square meters, the village team, community owned green management and protection area reached more than 3.7 million square meters, won the "national health town" and "Beijing beautiful environment town" title.
