Hunan food and Drug Vocational College

Hunan food and Drug Vocational College is a higher vocational college approved by Hunan Provincial People's government and put on record by the Ministry of education. It is under the charge of Hunan food and drug administration, and the education business is under the management of Hunan Education Department. The college, formerly known as Hunan Medical secondary vocational school, has been established for more than 30 years, and has won the honors of "national advanced medical education collective" and "Hunan advanced recruitment and employment unit". The college covers a total area of 396 mu, with a building area of 151000 square meters. There are 2526 vocational college students. Hunan Pharmaceutical Industry Vocational Skill Appraisal Institute, jointly set up by Hunan food and Drug Administration and Hunan Human Resources and social security department, is located in our hospital. It is a training and appraisal base for medical industry employees in Hunan Province.

The college has 215 teaching staff, including 150 full-time teachers, 124 with intermediate title or above, 64 with deputy senior title or above, and 51 with double qualification. The structure of the teaching staff is reasonable, the morality of teachers is noble, and the profession is excellent.

The college is a training base for biotechnology and application (biological agents) supported by the central government. It has 33 experimental training rooms, including GMP simulation Pharmaceutical Workshop, GSP simulation standard training pharmacy, pharmaceutical laboratory, precision instrument laboratory, etc., with a total value of more than 12 million yuan. The library has a collection of 95000 books, 430000 e-books and a special student E-reading room.
