Yuecun street is located in the western suburb of Wenxian County, south of the Yellow River.

Evolution of organizational system

On March 16, 2016, Wen County adjusted its administrative divisions, specifically as follows: the five administrative villages of Xiangyun Town, including Pingwang, Yandong, Beiye, Mayu and xiashijing, were included in the urban area; the township system of Wenquan Town, Yuecun Township and nanzhangqiang town was abolished; and the four streets of Wenquan, Yuecun, Zhangqiang and Huanghe were established. Economics

Yuecun street is one of the four Huaiyao demonstration bases and the origin of tieyao yam in Jiaozuo City. There are ancient hot spring sites and the tombs of Shifen and his son in the Western Han Dynasty. The legend of Zhao's orphan in sanjiazhuang village and huaibang opera have won the title of intangible cultural heritage in Henan Province. In recent years, relying on the advantages of location and industrial agglomeration, the street has actively expanded investment, made great progress in economic and social development, and initially formed pillar industries such as electric machinery, plastic chemical industry, seasoning and medicine processing.
