Laodian town

Laodian Town, belonging to Yangxin County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, is located in the northeast of Yangxin County, bordering Zhanhua County in the East, Shuiluopo town and hehe town in the south, urban area and economic and Technological Development Zone of Yangxin County in the west, and Wudi County in the north. The area is 95.52 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Lao Dian town was 44623.

In September 1958, the second happy commune was established. In October 1963, it was re established as Laodian district. In December 1970, Laodian commune was established. In March 1984, it was established as Laodian township. In November 2011, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Laodian town has 86 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.

By the end of 2018, there were 475 industrial enterprises in Laodian Town, including 18 industrial enterprises above Designated Size and 84 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
