Zhongkou Township

Among them, Kou Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Laishui County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the South northwest of Laishui County, connecting Zhaogezhuang town and Longmen Township in the East, Yi County in the south, Wulonggou Township and dongtuanbao Township in Laiyuan County in the west, Zhuolu county and Yu County in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 17.1km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 18.4km, with a total area of 176.78km2. At the end of 2018, the total population of Kou Township registered residence was 7167.

In 1961, zhongkou commune was established. In 1984, it was changed into zhongkou township. As of June 2020, zhongkou township has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed at No. 45 Xingyuan, zhongkou village. Among them, Kou township is the planting site of Laishui walnut, a national geographical indication product of China.

In 2011, the total output value of agriculture and industry of Kou township was 28.14 million yuan and 54.88 million yuan respectively, and the total fiscal revenue was 1.04 million yuan, an increase of 7% over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 550000 yuan, an increase of 6% over the previous year. The per capita fiscal revenue increased by 12% over the previous year.
