Zhaomaotao Township, belonging to Haixing County, Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Haixing County, with a total area of 139.2 square kilometers.
In the late Qing Dynasty, Zhao Mao Tao Village belonged to Chu Ma Pu, Yanshan County East. In April 1984, it was changed to Zhao Maotao township. In November 1995, Dingcun township was incorporated into the village. As of the end of 2018, Zhao Mao Tao had 37674 registered residence population. As of June 2020, 44 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of Zhao Mao Tao Township, and the village of Gao Miao village was located in the Township Hall.

History of construction
At the end of Qing Dynasty, zhaomaotao township was located in chumapu, East District of Yanshan County.
During the Anti Japanese War, it belonged to the Fifth District (Youcun District) and the third district (Youcun District) of Yanshan County.
In September 1945, it belonged to zhaomaotao district (seven districts) of Jingyuan County and seven districts of Yanshan County.
In September 1958, it belonged to Dongfanghong (you Village) commune of Yanshan County.
In May 1961, Zhao Maotao commune was established.
In June 1965, it was Zhao Maotao commune in Haixing County.
In April 1984, it was changed to zhaomaotao township.
In November 1995, Dingcun township was incorporated.
