Historical evolution

Yanfen commune was established in 1958, and streets were built in 1980. Lu Guan District was built in 1949 and Lu Guan Street was set up in 1978. In 1996, Yanfen street, with an area of 1.5 square kilometers and a population of 31000, had jurisdiction over 17 neighborhood committees; Luguan street, with an area of 2.2 square kilometers and a population of 45000, had jurisdiction over 26 neighborhood committees, named after the ordinal number. In 2002, Yanfen sub district office was located at NO.5 Hongyan Road, with a population of 25900 and an area of 1.5 square kilometers, and it governed seven communities: Yanyang, Yanlu, Yueyuan, Hongchang, Yanhua, Aixin and Hongsheng; Luguan sub district office was located at No.41 Jiangong South Street, with a population of 49300 and an area of 2.2 square kilometers, and it governed Yonghe, Zhongle, Fanrong south, Qianjin, Changqing, Fanrong north, Guangguang, Yongshan and Fanrong East , Guanghui, Hongyan Road (community to be moved back) 12 communities.
