Today, although kaolin is no longer produced in Gaoling mountain, because of its position in the history of ceramics and a large number of ancient relics, the stone carvings in Wanli of Ming Dynasty and Yongzheng of Qing dynasty recorded the prosperity of kaolin mining in that year. It is obvious from the remains of the Ming and Qing mine pits and tailing piles that many tourists come to Gaoling mountain for sightseeing every year. In addition, the natural scenery of Gaoling mountain is also unique in Jingdezhen.
