Fanpo town

Fanpo town is located in the northeast of Song County, between 34 ° 6 ′～ 34 ° 13 ′ N and 112 ° 11 ′～ 112 ° 17 ′ E. It is adjacent to Jiudian Township in the East, reservoir Township and Zhifang town in the west, Huangzhuang Township in the South and Tianhu town in the north. The town government is located in fanpo village, 17 kilometers away from the county.

Evolution of organizational system

In September 1975, fanpo commune was established with 15 brigades from Jiudian commune, reservoir commune and Zhifang commune. In 1984, fanpo commune was changed into fanpo township. In August 2013, the township was removed to build a town.

Fanpo town is located in the northeast of Song County, 17 kilometers away from the county, 17 kilometers long from east to west, 15 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 102 square kilometers. The Bada River in fanpo town enters from Xiyao village of Guoling, Jiudian Township, flows through Wangcheng and Zhangyuan to pingfengzhuang, Tianhu Town, and flows into Yihe River, which is a primary tributary of Yihe River. Continental climate, annual precipitation 600 mm ~ 700 mm, annual average temperature 14 ℃, extreme minimum temperature - 19 ℃, extreme maximum temperature 40 ℃, effective accumulated temperature above 10 ℃ 4500 ℃. The highest altitude is 769.2 meters, the lowest is 276 meters, and the relative elevation difference is 493.2 meters.

The town has convenient transportation and good ecology. Luoluan expressway, songru road and land vehicle road pass through the town;

Fanpo cultivated land covers an area of 2006 hectares, mainly for agriculture, mainly producing wheat, corn, sweet potato, beans and peanuts. Pepper, tobacco, forestry, animal husbandry and labor export are the five pillar industries of fanpo. There are abundant medicinal plant resources in the territory, and Bupleurum is the most famous. It is known as "Songhu" and listed as the variety of origin protection by AQSIQ. Some reserves of barite, quartz, iron ore and other minerals have been found.

Fanpo is located on the Bank of Luhun lake with beautiful scenery. Quli hot spring, one of the eight scenic spots in Song County, is located in fanpo. The water temperature is 49 ℃. It is rich in a variety of minerals, drugs and chemicals. It has good curative effect on a variety of diseases. It used to be the place where the king of Shang Tang bathed, and also the place where the king of Shang Tang hired Yi Yin three times. The places of interest include Tang Wang Temple, feed mother temple and Yin Guzhong.
